Leonida is the fictional US state of GTA 6, which clearly evokes Florida. At its heart is Vice City, widely read as Rockstar's Miami. Each region has its own page with everything Rockstar has officially shown so far.

Frequently asked questions
When does GTA 6 come out?
Rockstar Games has confirmed November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has not been announced; whether and when it comes is open.
How big is the GTA 6 map compared to GTA 5?
According to Game Informer (September 29, 2026), Rockstar developer Aaron Garbut says Leonida is the biggest map Rockstar has ever built and roughly twice the size of the GTA 5 map. Rockstar has not given an area in square miles or kilometers (as of October 25, 2026). More on the regions page.
Is the GTA 6 map free?
Yes, completely free and with no sign-up, progress tracker included.
Why doesn't the map show real locations yet?
GTA 6 isn't out yet. The current markers are a preview. After the release on November 19, 2026, we will replace them step by step with locations verified in the game.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your progress is stored locally in your browser and is still there on your next visit from the same device.
