Extended Look: 26 minutes of GTA 6 gameplay
The long wait for “Trailer 3” is over: on August 27, 2026, Rockstar showed “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look”, 26 minutes captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5. Starting at 3:00 PM ET (12:00 PM PT, 8:00 PM BST), the video ran exclusively on Netflix for six hours and then came to YouTube.
For the first time, you could officially see how GTA 6 plays, including switching between Jason and Lucia and their “Bonnie & Clyde” dynamic. At the end, Rockstar confirmed the release on November 19, 2026 once again. Where it all takes place is on the interactive Leonida map.

Rockstar has shown the official GTA 6 launch trailer: an easy score goes wrong, and Jason and Lucia end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy that stretches across all of Leonida. The music comes from the electronic duo Justice, who are also composing the game's original score: the new single “Flower in a Hurricane” with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard is part of “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album”. Six radio stations and the first podcasts revealed confirmed
Rockstar introduces six stations from the game: Cocoteo FM (modern Latin music), Back Country Radio (country), AfroBank FM (African music), The Chamber 106.6 (metal), Flash FM (pop) and Dirty South Classics (Southern rap and hip-hop). According to Rockstar, it's the biggest and broadest radio selection in the series so far. New: on-demand podcasts. Radio and podcasts play in vehicles and on foot, on the go through headphones on your smartphone. Previews of the six stations are on the official website. GTA VI collection in the Rockstar Store confirmed
The Rockstar Store now carries official GTA 6 clothing and collectibles: T-shirts with the VI logo and with characters from the TV show “Macca the Gator”, caps, a keychain, a money clip with the classic Vice City logo, a Zippo lighter, tote bags and stickers. Rockstar announces “The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection”: a limited collector's box with merchandise built around the Leonida TV show “Macca the Gator”, including a figure, Oakley sunglasses and a poster of the entire landscape of Leonida. Official album with 34 songs announced confirmed
“Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album” is being made with Atlantic Records and comes out on November 19 alongside the game. The first six singles are already on the major streaming services, including tracks by Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards. Vinyl and CD can be pre-ordered. The first trailer arrived for the studio's 25th anniversary (a day earlier than planned, because of a leak) and showed Vice City and the state of Leonida for the first time. The game world is in the regions overview.
