How we verify

findleonida.com only publishes what can be backed up. Here's where our information comes from and how we fix mistakes.

No leaks

We don't take anything from leaks: no leaked maps, images, videos or details, even when other sites are already showing them.

Before release: official sources only

Until the release on November 19, 2026, we only treat as fact what Rockstar Games has published officially: in the trailers, on rockstargames.com, in the Rockstar Newswire and on the game's official store pages. Hints from trailers or reports by other media are clearly marked as unconfirmed.

Until then, the preview map shows the real geography of Florida from public geodata, not the game world. The markers on it carry names Rockstar has officially mentioned; their positions on the preview map are our estimate and are labeled as such. The sources are listed right next to the map.

After release: only what's confirmed in the game

From release day on, locations and game details only go on the site once they're confirmed in the finished game. Tips from players are checked before we add them.

Source and date

For our information we name the source and the date we checked it, usually at the bottom of the page under “Last updated”. When something changes, we update the page and set a new date.

Use the Report a find form (with a screenshot) or email us at contact@findleonida.com, ideally with the link to the page and a source or screenshot. We check every report and fix mistakes as quickly as possible.

findleonida.com is an unofficial fan project. We're not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive and are neither endorsed nor paid by them. We don't use official logos or game graphics; our images are original illustrations or crops of the preview map, not game footage.
